Business Analyst

About the Business Analyst Role:
You will be working in a team of professionals dedicated to develop their own accounting system where you are given the opportunities to leverage your existing accounting knowledge and venture into the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders such as project manager, software developer, software architect, internal finance departments on the development of the new accounting system
• Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions
• Develop functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements
• Lead testing efforts
• Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
• Work with client personnel to identify required changes
• Communicate needed changes to the development team
• Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
• Take input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback
• Communicate and apply project standards

To succeed in this role, you must have 7 - 10 years of external audit and commercial accounting experience.

Key Requirements:

• Must possess professional papers in accounting such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW
• At least seven years of work experience in external audit and commercial accounting
• Must be analytical, self-motivated, organised and able to multitask and work independently
• Must be able to assist in research to support project and practice development works, presentations,and proposal development
• Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills
