Project Accountant

About the Project Accountant Role:
As a Project Accountant, you are responsible for liaising with Sales Support and Project Managers regarding contract documents, analysing financial performance against key business metrics, and identifying potential operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up new projects by reviewing terms and conditions in Master Agreement/Contract order
• Effectively communicate with Sales Support/Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals
• Fully responsible for project billing process in accordance with the established accounting standards and billing policy
• Analyse financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets
• Identify, investigate, and analyse potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)
• Provide year-end support of audit requirements, which may include research and reconciliation.Willing to take on ad hoc projects as required

To succeed in this Project Accountant role, you must be able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, experienced in project billing processes and detailed in reviewing master agreement and contract orders.

Key Requirements:

• Degree holder or above, major in Accounting/Finance related, with at least three years of accounting and auditing experience
• Experience on project accounting will be preferred
• Experience in handling payroll and tax filings will be preferred
• Worked in MNC and managed multi-countries is preferred
• Experience on Oracle Cloud and SalesForce is a distinctive advantage
• Good communication skill and fluent in English and Mandarin, as you will communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Strong Knowledge of MS Office Suite and PowerPoint knowledge essential
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through is required
• Experience in technology environment is preferred
• Willing to learn, energetic and proactive and can work independently
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
