Management Accountant

An exciting Management Accountant job has just become available at one of the leading business consultancy firm in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Management Accountant Role:
You will be responsible for all the financial and management reporting for the legal entities in SEA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and contributing to the preparation of month end accounts, monthly management reporting pack and relevant entries to the general ledger
• Producing ad hoc reporting and forecast modelling for local and overseas management
• Coordinating and contributing to the preparation of annual budgets across the region
• Strong business acumen in reviewing commercial opportunities as they arise, and contributing the financial expertise in submitting new bids as part of the team approach
• Working with a team of indirect staff to ensure all financial management requirements are met on a proactive basis. Working within the broader group finance team, this person works with staff that are processing the routine sales, purchases and payroll transactions of two businesses
• Overseeing of all tax compliance requirements, including the completion of annual returns for each country

To succeed in the Management Accountant job, you need to shows initiative and able to adopt a proactive approach to all assignments and responsibilities

Key Requirements:

• Degree/professional degree in finance/accountancy, ACCA,CIMA or equivalent
• Big 4 or broad-based industry experience
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
• Positive work attitude and a fast learner
