Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards, adherence to delegations of authority, and efficient business processes that identify and mitigate risk.
What you'll do:
As a Risk & Compliance Manager, you will play an integral role in championing business process excellence . You will ensure consistent practices are implemented effectively while identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them. Your ability to secure outcomes through others, manage projects effectively, and maintain a hands-on action orientation will be key to your success in this role.
- Implement and review corporate risk & compliance programs
- Assess business risk and engage in elimination or mitigation activities
- Conduct control self assessments and RACM reviews
- Perform business intelligence and systems assessments
- Review and standardise business processes
- Ensure data integrity, collection, and reporting streams
- Act as liaison for internal audits
- Conduct POST Capex reviews and balance sheet reviews
- Canage projects related to risk and compliance
What you bring:
The ideal Risk & Compliance Manager will bring a professional accounting designation (CA / CPA) or a recognised accounting degree along with at least 5 years of relevant audit experience. You will have excellent interpersonal & team building skills coupled with strong process improvement abilities. Your ability to inspire others through your integrity & trust will set you apart.
- Possess strong strategic skills including business and commercial acumen
- Ability to make decisions and deal with ambiguity or change
- Highly developed operating skills including securing outcomes through others and project management & prioritisation
- Demonstrate energy, drive, perseverance, organisational savvy, and political awareness
