One of the leading retailers is seeking an experienced Regional Process Excellence & Compliance Manager to be based in their regional office in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Regional Process Excellence & Compliance Manager Role :
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end finance and accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and implement best industry process improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the region
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements through regular audits and assessments
  • Utilize strong knowledge in finance operations to align process improvements with financial goals and strategies
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations to senior management, illustrating the impact of process improvements and compliance initiatives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, supply chain, internal audit and senior leadership, to drive process excellence and compliance
  • Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process optimisation

To succeed in the Regional Process Excellence & Compliance Manager job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively within a team environment and co-operatively with affiliates across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement and compliance within the retail industry
  • Proven experience as an internal auditor in a retail environment
  • Strong knowledge of commercial finance principles and practices
  • Hands-on approach with a proven track record of leading successful process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
