This is a rapidly expanding food and beverage retail company. Reporting to a GM, you will lead a team and perform internal audit on the operations of the business.

About the Head of Internal Audit (F&B) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be accountable for financial accounting, risk management, compliance and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform internal audit on the operations of business and to carry out special assignments when required
• Lead or Participate in planned audit assignments within agreed time frame
• Review operational and business processes to ensure compliance governing laws and regulations
• Planning and executing audit assignments for all Branches inclusive of operational and business process review to ensure compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures and governing laws and regulations
• Review the processes and audit high risk areas
• Follow up on audit observations upon implementation of management actions and continuous monitoring on audit issues to ensure effectiveness of implementation and to prevent recurrence
• Identification of process gaps and suggest constructive solutions/improvements to rectify weaknesses in processes
• Promote ethics within organisation and helps identify improper conduct
• Examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control system on risk-based audit approach
• Assure safeguards of company’s interest and carry out fraud investigation when necessary

To succeed in the Head of Internal Audit (F&B) job, you will need to have strong stakeholder management experience.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years' working experience in finance
• Qualified accountants have an added advantage
• Possess good communication, organisation and inter-personal skills
• Good proficiency in English
• Meticulous and able to handle challenges with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
• Industry experience within food and beverage or hotel will be most welcome
