About the Assistant Manager - Internal Auditor Role:
As the Assistant Manager - Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for leading a team to carry out full spectrum of internal audit work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and identification of auditable areas
- Carry out audit assignment as planned and follow up on pending issues
- Review principal business risks, internal financial controls, accounting system and records of companies
- Review operational controls and compliance with policies and procedures, accounting rules and other legislations affecting companies
- Prepare draft internal audit reports on all issues encountered
- Ensure completeness, quality and accuracy of audit reports
- Resolve issues with the auditee
- Assign/plan and advise the work of Audit Executive/Assistants
- Provide suggestions on improvements to system and processes
- Assist Asst. Manager/Managers in all internal audit matters
To succeed in this Assistant Manager - Internal Auditor role, you must be a high-energy, responsive, detail-oriented, and experienced leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, operational, and people skills.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Finance/Accounting/Investment/Economics
- At least three years of work experience
- Team player with strong interpersonal and project management skills, resourceful, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines
- Good presentation and writing skills
