An exciting Internal Auditor (13 months + Hybrid) job has just become available at one of the FMCG MNCs based in Kuala Lumpur.
About the Internal Auditor (13 months + Hybrid) Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for managing all internal audit related matters and required to travel across Malaysia and Thailand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of the financial and operational processes and related internal controls, and ensure compliance with the group’s corporate governance framework, and established policies/procedures
- Identify weaknesses in control activities and make value-added recommendations for process improvements
- Prepare audit report to present the audit issues, risks and recommendations
- Perform ad hoc tasks and special projects/reviews as assigned from time to time
- Expected to travel to Thailand, and within East and West Malaysia to perform audit fieldwork
To succeed in this Internal Auditor (13 months + Hybrid) role, you must possess good critical-thinking skills to gather all of the available data and make informed decisions.
Key Requirements:
- Degree or a professional qualification in accounting/finance/economics/business or related disciplines
- At least three years’ work experience gained preferably from a Big 4 and/or leading commercial organisations
- Experience in an FMCG environment is an advantage
- Good understanding of internal control system and risk management
