A Senior Manager - Risk Management job has become available at an organisation operating in the real estate industry, to lead, develop and enhance the risk management function of the company.
About the Senior Manager - Risk Management Role:
Due to the business needs, they are seeking for a resilient and change agent who is able to implement a successful risk management framework in the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate, develop and implement risk management directions to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of risk management and internal control systems
- Establish and refine the tools, methodologies and processes of the ERM framework to proactively identify and manage risks
- Lead periodic review on the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s risk management and control systems
- Recommend steps to improve the system of internal controls derived from the findings of the internal and external auditors to the management and board of directors
To succeed in the Senior Manager - Risk Management role, you must possess at least 15 years of relevant work experience in risk management and/or internal audits.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Professional qualifications is an advantage (CIA, ACCA, CPA, etc.)
- Ability to work well cross departments and has excellent stakeholder engagements
- Ability to work under pressure, driven and analytical
- Strong negotiation skills and have the hunger to learn
