The company offers a collaborative environment where your expertise in financial reporting, project management, and cross-border coordination will be highly valued. If you are looking for a position that combines technical finance skills with international exposure and the chance to make a tangible impact on business processes, this could be the perfect next step in your career. Flexible working opportunities and ongoing training are part of the supportive culture that awaits you.

  • Be at the forefront of finance transformation by supporting subsidiary setup, compliance, and ERP implementation across global entities, giving you valuable international experience.
  • Work directly with senior leadership and finance teams worldwide to ensure accurate consolidated reporting and streamlined processes, enhancing your professional network and knowledge base.
  • Enjoy flexible working opportunities and access to continuous training within a supportive environment that values your growth, well-being, and commitment to excellence.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager within this forward-thinking organisation’s Finance Transformation team, you will immerse yourself in a variety of impactful activities that span international borders. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you actively involved in supporting subsidiary setup processes—liaising with external partners to ensure smooth registration while maintaining strict adherence to statutory requirements. You will play an integral role in implementing a cutting-edge ERP system across multiple countries, helping standardise financial processes and providing essential training to colleagues worldwide. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you assist with preparing consolidated financial reports for group-level review. In addition to these core tasks, you will collaborate closely with finance professionals from different regions, acting as a bridge between headquarters and overseas offices. Your ability to manage projects efficiently while fostering open communication will contribute significantly to streamlining operations and achieving organisational goals.

  • Assist the Head of Department in coordinating with agents, representatives, and consultants to register new overseas subsidiaries, ensuring all statutory requirements are met efficiently.
  • Support applications for employer codes, employee registrations, insurance policies, and other regulatory obligations necessary for new company setups.
  • Monitor compliance with local regulations and corporate governance standards during the establishment of new subsidiaries to maintain high ethical standards.
  • Provide hands-on support in rolling out the new ERP system across all entities, contributing to seamless integration and operational efficiency.
  • Help standardise the chart of accounts including debtor, creditor, and inventory codes to ensure consistency across global operations.
  • Facilitate transparency of inventory levels across all subsidiaries by supporting data accuracy initiatives within the ERP system.
  • Deliver training sessions and guidance for finance teams in various countries on effective ERP usage to promote best practices.
  • Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports for the Parent Company based in Singapore by gathering accurate data from multiple sources.
  • Coordinate with country finance managers to align reporting standards and ensure consistency throughout all subsidiaries.
  • Act as a liaison between the Parent Company and overseas subsidiaries under the direction of the Head of Department, collaborating on both operational and non-operational projects.

What you bring:

To excel as a Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager within this transformative environment, your background should reflect substantial experience in both technical accounting principles and practical application within large-scale organisations. Your academic achievements—whether through university education or professional certification—demonstrate your commitment to excellence. You bring proven expertise not only in managing compliance issues but also in leveraging technology such as ERP systems to drive process improvements. Your interpersonal skills enable you to build trust-based relationships across cultures while your project management capabilities allow you to juggle competing priorities effectively. Experience working under Singapore GAAP or similar frameworks gives you an edge when consolidating accounts at group level. Above all else, your dependability, sensitivity towards diverse perspectives, and willingness to share knowledge make you an invaluable member of any collaborative team.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or possession of a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, MICPA or equivalent is required for this role.
  • At least 5–6 years of relevant experience in corporate support functions within finance or direct involvement in ERP implementation projects is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements related to company registration procedures and employee-related statutory matters is expected.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience working with ERP systems—preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)—will set you apart from other candidates.
  • Familiarity with Singapore GAAP as well as experience handling group consolidated accounts is highly desirable for success in this position.
  • Excellent organisational abilities combined with strong project management skills are necessary for managing complex tasks across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Outstanding communication skills are vital for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders around the globe.
  • A keen analytical mindset paired with meticulous attention to detail ensures accuracy in financial data management and reporting activities.
  • Prior exposure to multinational or regional corporate environments is preferred as it provides valuable context for navigating cross-border challenges.
  • Willingness and ability to travel overseas occasionally will be considered an advantage given the international scope of responsibilities.
