Consolidation Accountant (Qualified Accountant only)

Role Overview We are supporting a client in the search for a Consolidation Accountant to join their group finance team. This role is responsible for group-level consolidation, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities. It is well-suited for candidates with strong technical accounting foundations and hands-on consolidation exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation in accordance with accounting standards

• Perform intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, and balance checks

• Review and analyze financial submissions from subsidiaries to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Support group financial reporting, management reports, and variance analysis

• Assist with statutory reporting, audit coordination, and documentation

• Maintain and improve consolidation processes, controls, and reporting timelines

• Liaise closely with local finance teams and external auditors

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Professional qualification is a must (e.g. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CA)

• Experience in consolidation and group reporting, ideally from Big 4, mid-tier, listed group, or large MNC environment

• Strong understanding of accounting standards and consolidation principles

• Proficient in Excel; experience with consolidation systems is an advantage

• Detail-oriented, structured, and able to work under tight reporting deadlines
