What you'll do:

- Oversee the consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities to support accurate reporting for listing requirements.
- Drive budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insightful analysis to guide strategic decision-making throughout the organisation.
- Address clean-up and backlog challenges to ensure all financial records are up-to-date and compliant with IPO readiness standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to implement robust financial controls that safeguard assets and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Support pre-IPO preparations by identifying areas for improvement in current financial systems and processes.
- Manage post-IPO financial reporting requirements, ensuring timely submission of statutory filings and disclosures.
- Maintain strong adherence to accounting standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Work with external auditors and advisors to facilitate smooth audit processes and resolve any issues related to compliance or reporting.
What you bring:
- Demonstrated experience in leading finance operations within a complex organisational structure, ideally one level below CFO.
- Proven track record in managing consolidation activities for multiple entities with a focus on meeting listing requirements.
- Extensive background in budgeting, forecasting, and providing analytical insights to support business strategy.
- Experience in addressing clean-up tasks and resolving backlog issues related to IPO readiness.
- Strong understanding of compliance matters with an ability to interpret regulatory requirements accurately.
- Deep knowledge of accounting standards coupled with a commitment to upholding group policies and financial controls.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA is desirable but not mandatory; hands-on experience in reporting is highly valued.
