An exciting Manager/Senior Manager - Group Finance job has just become available at one of the FMCG companies based in Petaling Jaya.

About the Manager/Senior Manager - Group Finance Role:
As the Manager/Senior Manager - Group Finance, you will be involved in reviewing, analysing and monitoring subsidiary companies’ financial statements and prepare group consolidation accounts with the objectives of providing timely and accurate financial information of the group for management analysis, Bursa Securities and to ensure compliance with all applicable approved accounting standards, legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly group consolidated financial statement and submit on a timely basis
• Prepare interim financial report for Bursa Malaysia announcement on quarterly basis to ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and applicable approved accounting standards for the superior’s review
• Prepare various explanatory notes/financial data and analysis for the quarterly results in order to provide accurate information to the management
• Review/analyse group and subsidiaries financial and management reports (actual, forecast, budget)
• Review management accounts of the subsidiaries to ensure consistency/compliance with group accounting policies and applicable approved accounting standards
• Prepare draft audited financial statements for superior and auditor’s review
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax agents in ensuring compliance in all matters relating to audits and statutory requirements on a timely basis
• Perform ad hoc duties assigned by HOD or immediate superior

To succeed in this Manager/Senior Manager - Group Finance role, you must be a high-energy, responsive, detail-oriented, and experienced leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, operational, and people skills.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in business/finance/accounting/investment/economics
• At least five years of work experience
• Strong negotiation skills with a good understanding of current market practices
• Team player with strong interpersonal and project management skills, resourceful, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines
• Written and verbal proficiency in English
• Good presentation and writing skills
