About the Accountant Role:
As the Accountant, you will mainly be involved in handling the accounting related matters for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance of Group Finance accounting policy for the financial reporting and standard accounting policies for the statutory reporting, review financial statements, standard operating procedures, internal controls and month-end closing processes
• Be responsible for all balance sheet reconciliations for the Group including fixed assets management
• Work closely with the Finance Shared Services team (R2R, P2P, O2C) and supervise and motivate the SSC team to ensure a high standard of work quality and quantity
• Provide supports to local stakeholders as and when required such as GL analysis, assessment of provisions, inventory, receivables, consumables and balance sheet movements
• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations and preparing the financial reports on monthly, quarterly and ad hoc as and when required
• Review internal control and execute process improvement to ensure the appropriate process and system controls are properly in place

To succeed in this Accountant role, you must be confident, proactive, have good communication and interpersonal skills, and be a good team player with the ability to provide problem solving solutions to team members.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW/MACPA)
• At least two to three years of audit experience in professional accounting firm preferred or similar experience in a commercial industry
• Good analytical skills, highest standards of accuracy, meticulous and highly organised
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven, self-motivated and results-oriented
• Ability to demonstrate roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
• Microsoft Excel skills, preferably with MS Navision ERP hands-on knowledge
