An established MNC is recruiting for a Cost Accountant job. In this job, you will record all the costs incurred in a business in a way that can be used to improve its management.
About the Cost Accountant Role:
In this role, you will oversee the budget and expenses for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Involved in the manufacturing processes at the production floor
- Involved in cost building process in determining pricing
- Ability to create costing and pricing simulations to derive optimal pricing
- Plan, manage and coordinate for inventory stock take (mini cycle counts, year-end cycle count)
- Responsible for factory various financial activity including costing, pricing, factory month end close, in-depth analysis into all factory ledgers
- Prepare costing projection and factory overheads for annual budget
- Be involved in preparation for year-end audit, yearly tax assessment, surveys and reporting to government bodies in relation to factory
To succeed in this Cost Accountant role, you must possess at least eight years of work experience in costing and manufacturing background.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in Accounting and Finance
- Professionally qualified is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge in variance analysis and standard costing
- Skilled in BOM, routing, labour and overhead absorption techniques
- Well verse with ERP systems (added advantage if you have Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI experience) and an expert excel user
