Assurance - Senior Associate

A well-known international professional services firm is currently recruiting for an Assurance - Senior Associate job based in Kuala Lumpur. In this job, you will gain opportunities to provide a range of assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities.

About the Assurance - Senior Associate Role:
In this role, you will be responsible to work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in various external audit services to clients ranging from SMEs to PLCs
• Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to managers and above
• Provide relevant training and guidance to team members
• Establish and development effective working relationships directly with clients
• Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

To succeed in this Assurance - Senior Associate role, you must be able to work as part of a team of problem solvers to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's in any discipline and/or a professional accounting qualification such as the ICAEW/ACCA/CPA Australia
• At least two years' relevant experience in statutory and regulatory audits
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Good leadership skills and demonstrate resilience
