Regional FP&A Manager

What you'll do:

As a Regional Financial Planning and Analysis Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play an integral part in supporting the Southeast Asia finance function by providing high-quality financial insights that drive business success.

• Deliver comprehensive reporting and analysis on key business and client-based metrics to support informed decision-making across SEA
• Provide clear and insightful financial analysis to internal stakeholders at both regional and in country
• Collaborate with Commercial team members to oversee business case and escalating risk issues when necessary.
• Compile reports for management meetings covering business updates, pipeline status, project analysis, and other critical financial indicators.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities for projects by working closely with finance teams across Southeast Asia as well as at the Asia Pacific level.
• Lead new initiatives aimed at enhancing reporting processes and analytical capabilities to ensure commercial operations remain responsive to evolving business needs.

What you bring:

To excel as a Regional Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will bring substantial experience gained from similar roles where you have supported multi-country operations or worked within large-scale organisations.

• Possess 8–10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or commercial finance roles within complex organisations operating across multiple geographies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in creating complex workbooks capable of handling large data sets for summarised analysis that supports effective decision-making by leadership teams.
• Experience with Tableau or Gen AI tools is considered an added advantage for candidates seeking to enhance their analytical toolkit further.
• Able to navigate ambiguity confidently while proactively addressing stakeholder needs through effective analysis models.
• A background in accounting is desirable but not mandatory; what matters most is your ability to apply sound judgement when dealing with commercial aspects of the business.
