What you'll do:

As Senior Manager Commercial Finance, you will be entrusted with overseeing the full spectrum of financial planning and analysis activities while acting as a strategic partner to commercial teams.

• Lead the annual operating plan process, including budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure robust financial planning across all business units.
• Prepare consolidated profit and loss statements, cash flow forecasts, and balance sheet projections to provide comprehensive financial oversight.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, explaining key drivers of business performance to senior stakeholders.
• Develop scenario models such as market expansion strategies, pricing changes, and supply chain risk assessments to support informed decision-making.
• Partner with sales and marketing teams on pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and return-on-investment analyses to maximise commercial outcomes.
• Monitor gross margin performance by product category, recommending targeted actions to protect or enhance profitability across the portfolio.
• Support negotiations with retailers and distributors by providing financial insights and deal modelling expertise that facilitate successful partnerships.

What you bring:

To excel as Senior Manager Commercial Finance in this organisation, your background should reflect substantial experience in financial planning & analysis as well as commercial finance roles within consumer-focused industries.

• Degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field; CFA/CPA/MBA qualifications are highly regarded for this position.
• Minimum eight years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles within consumer goods, retail or e-commerce sectors is preferred.
• Proven track record managing channel- or customer-level profit and loss statements as well as conducting thorough ROI analyses for commercial initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills allow you to collaborate seamlessly with both commercial teams and C-level executives across the organisation.
