FP&A Analyst

Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable FP&A Analyst to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to actively participate in planning processes, including annual budgeting and rolling forecasts. You will partner with assigned market/brand teams to support growth by participating in various projects, providing valuable financial insights and solutions. Your role will be pivotal in monitoring business performance and key indicators on a regular basis, offering valuable insights and suggestions.

What you'll do:

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the financial planning and analysis of the company. Your active participation in planning processes such as annual budgeting and rolling forecasts will be vital. You will work closely with assigned market/brand teams, providing them with essential financial insights and solutions that support growth. Your responsibilities also include the preparation of routine monthly reports post month-end closing. A significant part of your role involves regular monitoring of business performance and key indicators, where you will offer valuable insights, alerts, and suggestions. Your ability to analyse financial information will be utilised to recommend efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations, and maintain solutions to business-related issues.

• Actively participate in planning processes including annual budgeting and rolling forecasts

• Prepare routine monthly reports and decks after month-end closing
• Monitor business performance and key indicators regularly, providing valuable insights, alerts, and suggestions

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the FP&A Analyst position holds a minimum degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business fields. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to provide valuable financial insights that contribute significantly to our client's success. Your experience in actively participating in planning processes such as budgeting and forecasting is highly desirable. We are looking for someone who can prepare routine monthly reports efficiently after month-end closing. Your proficiency in monitoring business performance and key indicators on a weekly or daily basis will be crucial for this role. Lastly, your capability to analyse financial information for efficient resource use is what sets you apart.
