What you'll do:
As an FP&A Analyst, your role will be pivotal in driving business growth and profitability in Malaysia. You will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements and reports, assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes, contributing to monthly financial reporting, providing insightful financial analysis for strategic decision-making, and working collaboratively with various teams to enhance financial controls. Your ability to identify process improvements will be key in streamlining financial reporting within the organisation.
- Prepare and deliver timely financial statements and reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting by supporting budget preparation and monitoring
- Contribute to the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting
- Utilise financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making
- Work collaboratively with various teams to identify process improvements, streamline financial reporting, and enhance financial controls
What you bring:
The ideal FP&A Analyst will bring a wealth of knowledge in finance and accounting principles along with proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis. Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be utilised extensively as you prepare detailed reports. Having worked in a global organisation previously, you are familiar with international accounting standards which will aid you greatly in this role. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with various teams across the organisation.
- Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Business Studies or related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in a global organisation with familiarity with international accounting standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
