Our client is seeking a Plant Controller to join their team in Selangor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to identify and prioritize cost-saving opportunities within the factory, analyze key factory cost drivers, and oversee accurate and timely reporting of actual costs. You will be instrumental in providing early alerts regarding significant cost deviations and facilitating internal and external benchmarking of factory performance and product costs.

What you'll do:
As a Plant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving cost efficiencies within the factory. Your keen eye for identifying cost-saving opportunities coupled with your ability to analyze key factory cost drivers will be crucial in this role. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of actual costs while adhering to external and internal financial policies, Accounting Standards, and Costing Standards. Your proactive approach will enable you to provide early alerts regarding significant cost deviations. Furthermore, you will develop, manage, and conduct thorough evaluations of capital investment plans.
- Identify and prioritize cost-saving opportunities within the factory.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Plant Controller position brings a wealth of experience from previous Accounting or Finance roles such as Sales, Factory, or Supply Chain Controller. Your hands-on experience in manufacturing costing within a factory or supply chain setting will be highly valued. A background in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is essential for understanding the unique challenges of this role. Familiarity with SAP systems is required along with a degree in Business, Finance, or a recognized Accountancy qualification. Proficiency in both English and Malay is necessary for effective communication within our diverse team.
- Previous experience in Accounting or Finance roles such as Sales, Factory, or Supply Chain Controller.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing costing preferably within a factory or supply chain setting.
- Background in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
- Familiarity with SAP systems.
- A degree in Business, Finance, or a recognized Accountancy qualification.
