What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial future. Your primary responsibilities will include analysing financial statements, performing scenario analysis, developing budgets, and managing financial forecasts. You will work closely with various departments to ensure alignment with overall business goals. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in identifying discrepancies and providing recommendations to address them. Furthermore, you will use data-driven insights to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement. Your role will also involve presenting financial information to senior management and assisting them in making informed decisions.
- Analyse financial statements to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement
- Perform financial modelling and projections to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Develop, monitor, and manage the company's budgets and financial forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in financial reporting
- Present financial information to senior management and assist them in making informed decisions
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement based on financial analysis

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the manufacturing industry. You should have at least 5 years' experience with budgeting, planning, financial modelling, and decision analytics. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA is required; being a Chartered Accountant would be a significant advantage. Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel will aid you in performing your duties efficiently. Your experience in preparing financial statements, budgets, and financial reports for management review will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your excellent verbal and written communication skills will enable you to interact effectively with internal operation, production teams, external stakeholders and management.
- Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or related professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA) with Chartered Accountant is a plus
- Minimum 5 years Manufacturing Industry experience with budgeting, planning, financial modelling, and decision analytics
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
- Extensive experience in preparing financial statements, budgets, and financial reports for management review
- Experience in training and mentoring staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal operation, production teams, external stakeholders and management
