What you'll do:
As a Financial Analyst, FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in managing Finance division reporting. You will be responsible for coordinating and consolidating the accounts from various regions, ensuring timely and accurate submission of monthly and quarterly financial schedules. Your role will also involve reviewing Monthly consolidated Financial Reports for Group reporting. You will be tasked with analysing and monitoring monthly fluctuations on key financial items, as well as coordinating and consolidating the Division's Annual Budget Management Plan.
- Manage Finance division reporting including coordination and consolidation of the various regions' accounts
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly and Quarterly financial schedules.
- Review Monthly consolidated Financial Reports for Group reporting.
- Analyse and monitor monthly fluctuations on key financial items.
- Coordinate and consolidate the Division's Annual Budget Management Plan.
- Monitor, compile and coordinate Industrial Forecast results.
- Prepare, consolidate and analyse cash flow for the division.
- Coordinate reporting and compliance activities across all Regions with Group Finance.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Financial Analyst, FP&A role will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. You should hold a professional accounting degree from a recognised University, coupled with 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in group consolidation. Fluency in verbal and written English is essential for this role. Your technical skills should include knowledge of Consolidation of group financial statements in accordance with generally applicable accounting standards (i.e. IFRS/MFRS), understanding of accounting treatment and postings in accordance with generally applicable accounting standards of Malaysia, financial data analysis skills, and report writing skills on group & divisional operating position. Proficiency in Microsoft’s latest Words, Excel and Powerpoint is also required.
