Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join their team in Petaling Jaya. This role will involve preparing budget financial analysis, streamlining budgeting and planning procedures, and conducting financial analysis for category and brand profitability. You will also be supporting the Commercial Team and Marketing with financial information and analysis for new product launches, pricing and promotion strategies, profit and loss scenarios, and strategic planning.

What you'll do:
As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in preparing detailed budget financial analyses. Your expertise will be vital in streamlining budgeting and planning procedures. You will conduct comprehensive financial analyses for category and brand profitability. Your role will extend to providing support to the Commercial Team and Marketing with crucial financial information. You will also analyse new product launches, pricing, promotion strategies, develop profit and loss scenarios for strategic planning.
- Prepare detailed budget financial analysis including category and brand profit and loss, sales growth, price analysis, trade spending, margin analysis, and non-variable overhead analysis.
- Streamline budgeting and planning procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for category and brand profitability.
- Provide support to the Commercial Team and Marketing with crucial financial information.
- Analyse new product launches, pricing and promotion strategies.
- Develop profit and loss scenarios for strategic planning.
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for the Commercial Finance Manager position, you bring a wealth of experience in accountancy or hold professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA/CPA. With at least seven years of work experience in FP&A, Budget Planning, Planning analysis, Commercial Finance or Financial Analysis under your belt, you are well-versed in all aspects of commercial finance management. Your strong analytical skills enable you to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Your excellent communication skills allow you to effectively liaise with various teams within the organisation.
- Holds a degree or equivalent experience in accountancy or professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CPA).
- Minimum seven years of work experience in FP&A, Budget Planning, Planning analysis, Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis or related field.
- Experience in Budget planning, P&L and Balance Sheet is preferable.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with various teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
