Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controlling Manager to oversee the financial aspects of logistics, including budgeting, accounting, and cost management. This role requires a leader who can inspire, delegate, follow-up, and motivate their team towards profit-oriented actions. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving operational fulfilment, efficiency, SLA, and KPIs through analysis and action planning. What you'll do:

As a Controlling Manager (FP&A + Business Partner), you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our client's operations. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all financial aspects of logistics - from budgeting to accounting to cost management. You will lead your team with inspiration and motivation, fostering a profit-oriented mindset. Your analytical skills will be crucial in improving operational fulfilment, efficiency, SLA, and KPIs. You will also take charge of new projects, evaluating their return on investment to ensure maximum profitability. Supporting long-term growth through strategic planning will also fall under your purview.

  • Oversee the financial aspects of logistics including budgeting, accounting, and cost management.
  • Inspire, delegate, follow-up, and motivate your team towards profit-oriented actions.
  • Work closely with your team to improve operational fulfilment, efficiency, SLA, and KPIs.
  • Manage new projects and evaluate the return on investment for business cases.
  • Support long-term growth through strategic planning and projecting capacity needs.
  • Manage the performance of 3PL and transport service providers in a cost-conscious manner.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Controlling Manager (FP&A + Business Partner) position brings a wealth of experience in forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering. With at least 5 years in similar roles under your belt, you are adept at using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Your strong numerical skills complement your drive for achieving results. You thrive under pressure and have excellent time management skills that allow you to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • At least 5 years of experience in forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably additional tools like Power BI.
  • Strong numerical skills and a drive for achieving results.
  • Ability to work independently and perform well under high pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
