Our client is seeking a Finance Business Partner Executive to serve as a strategic liaison between the finance function and other business units within their organisation. This role plays a crucial part in providing financial insights, analysis, and support to business leaders, enabling informed decision-making and driving performance improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments such as Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources to understand their financial needs, challenges, and objectives. They will provide financial guidance, analysis, and recommendations to help optimise resource allocation, manage costs, maximise revenue, and achieve strategic business goals. * Act as a strategic advisor and business partner to assigned departments or business units. * Provide financial insights, analysis, and guidance to support decision-making. * Work closely with various departments to understand their financial needs.

As a Finance Business Partner Executive, you will play an integral role in driving the financial performance of the organisation. You will act as a strategic advisor to various departments, providing valuable insights that inform decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will include developing financial strategies, conducting detailed analyses, preparing comprehensive reports, leading budgeting processes, and evaluating investment opportunities. You will also be expected to drive continuous improvement initiatives within your department while mentoring junior team members.

  • Collaborate closely with department heads and business leaders to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimisation.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for assigned departments or business units.
  • Provide financial oversight and control.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial analysis.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Finance Business Partner Executive role will bring a wealth of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience. They will possess strong financial analysis skills, including proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to think analytically and strategically. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving financial performance improvement in a fast-paced environment and will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA, CFA or other relevant professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Strong financial analysis skills including proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance improvement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
