An exciting Accounting and Finance Senior Manager (F&B) job has just become available at one of the F&B companies in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Accounting and Finance Senior Manager (F&B) Role:
In this position, you will be responsible to supervise, guiding, and coaching the accounts and finance personnel in their respective job functions, overseeing business investment decisions and developing strategic financial goals for their company and supporting the company’s long-term financial plan, positive cash flow, liquidity management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports and prepare analysis and presentation to the management/board of directors for decision making
• Support the management to plan, develop, execute financial strategy to ensure that it is in line with the company’s overall strategy
• Ensure true and fair state of profit and loss statement and balance sheet on monthly basis
• Manage the company’s financial statements and monthly reports to assist the company in managing its financial position
• Ensure smooth month end closing and timely preparation of financial reports in accordance with statutory requirements and company policies
• Prepare the financial planning based on the appropriate financial budgeting techniques
• Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecast, including cash flow planning, department expenses, cash flow projection, capital expenditure, etc and monitoring of actual results for correction action to be taken to achieve company’s target
• Plan, develop and implement funding plans and strategies to meet agreed businesses funding needs for project activities as well as review of banking facilities by keeping abreast with financial products available in the market
• Monitor and manage bank credit facilities and bank guarantee issuance to ensure optimum usage and compliance with loan covenants as well as to negotiate/liaise with bankers and lawyers
• Liaise with external auditors, company secretary, regulatory authorities and other parties to ensure compliance with all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements
• Liaise with tax agents and handle taxation matters (including prepare and report to taxation authorities in a timely manner and advising management on the tax impact of various corporate strategies) to achieve maximum tax advantage
• Review tax estimate for submission to IRB and ensure on-time submissions

To succeed in this role, you must possess leadership and management skills with the ability to work well with all levels of people.

Key Requirements:

• A recognised degree/bachelor's degree or higher in accountancy or professional qualifications. Professional qualifications include ACCA/CPA/ CIMA or equivalent
• Minimum of eight years of experience with at least five years in managerial position, preferably in food and beverage company
• Good analytical and organisational skills with strong command of written and spoken English/Bahasa Malaysia/Mandarin, due to the nature of the role
• Independent, resourceful, meticulous, self-motivated and able to work with tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills, adapt at dealing with and engaging people at all levels
