FP&A Manager

An exciting FP&A Manager job has just become available at a renowned MNC. This company is looking for an individual with five to seven years of FP&A experience in a similar industry.

About the FP&A Manager Role:
Reporting directly to Senior Finance Manager, this role requires you to work comprehensively in budgeting, forecasting and analysing the financial performances of the production plants in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive financial models with an integrated set of financial statements, assumptions and metrics. Analyse past results and future outcomes in conjunction with market analyses to develop recommendations for changes in model assumptions
• Prepare and direct the compilation of annual and quarterly plan and present analysis of monthly forecast vs. actual results. Highlight and understand major forecast assumptions and their effects on the financial outlook
• Analyse and communicate business results, trends and outlooks. Lead the preparation of analysis, commentary and presentation materials for business review meetings including both financial results and business initiatives
• Collaborate with business leaders to quantify the financial impacts of operational risks and opportunities
• Successfully apply insights learned to the planning and forecasting processes

To succeed in this role, you must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility with business leaders in local and regional functions.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in accountancy or ACCA/CIMA/Chartered Accountant with at least five to seven years of relevant work experience, preferably in the manufacturing/FMCG industry
• Proficient in SAP and ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills to support large data and analytics modelling
• Ability to form data into useful information for finance and business functional leaders
