FP&A Manager

An exciting FP&A Manager job has just become available at one of the MNCs based in Petaling Jaya. Reporting to the Regional Finance Lead, you will be a part of the dynamic team.

About the FP&A Manager Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for financial reporting and group consolidation for local and oversea companies, overseeing a team of 16 headcounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the leadership team to formulate the business’s short to long-term financial and strategic plan
• Manage the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasting and strategic planning processes
• Analyse and communicate financial and operational results
• Work closely with the Business Partners to provide analytical support in commercial assessment
• Review operations and recommend new productivity and/or cost saving initiatives
• Prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
• Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
• Prepare regional/global reports as required
• Develop Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the Regional Controller and Regional Credit & Collection (C&C) Director on supporting the country Accounting and C&C functions
• Monitor compliance of SLA and work with accounting and C&C teams to develop action plans if required
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external statutory requirements
• Liaise with external auditors, bankers and tax agent if required

To succeed in this FP&A Manager role, you will need to have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration
• Work experience in a multinational company environment, with the ability to operate in a matrix environment and across diverse cultures
• Fluent in English
• Strong affinity with IT systems such as MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Self-motivated with an inquisitive mind who seeks to continuously improve existing processes
• Strong analytical skills with financial and balance sheet management experience
• Ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and respond effectively to business issues
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple outputs simultaneously
