Your ability to communicate complex financial information in an accessible way will help non-financial colleagues understand results clearly, strengthening inter-departmental relationships.
- Oversee the annual audit process, tax incentive reporting, and banking activities with careful attention to detail and compliance.
- Present financial statements accurately in accordance with both Malaysian GAAP and US GAAP, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders.
- Deliver precise month-end financial information to site leaders and corporate teams, enabling informed decision-making across the organisation.
- Ensure all accounts are reconciled on a monthly and quarterly basis, maintaining accuracy and transparency throughout the year.
- Coordinate year-end audit and tax preparation processes so they are completed efficiently without major adjustments or delays.
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in line with corporate guidelines, collaborating closely with relevant departments for thorough planning.
- Work together with Engineering and Operations teams to guarantee products are costed correctly and manufacturing variances are fully explained.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by overseeing cycle counts according to established corporate procedures.
- Implement robust internal controls that function effectively to safeguard company assets and data integrity.
- Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reliability, and collaboration within the organisation.
