What you'll do:
As the Head of Finance, your role will be integral to the strategic direction of the company. You will be tasked with developing financial strategies that align with the company's goals, managing capital requests and budgeting processes, and maintaining strong professional relationships within the management team. Your oversight will ensure the accuracy of all financial information issued by the company. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in understanding and mitigating risks to the company's profile. Your ability to identify opportunities for process improvement will be invaluable in this role. Furthermore, you will participate in recruitment activities, contributing to employee selection, career development, and succession planning.
- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
- Maintain sound business & professional relations with all members of the Management team
- Oversee the issuance and accuracy of all financial Information
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
- Participate in recruitment activities as and when relevant employee selection, career development, succession planning

- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business administration, or equivalent business experience
- 15 years of progressively senior experience within a major company or division of a large corporation.
- High level of written and oral communication skills

- Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships at all levels
- Very strong planning and organizing skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise appropriate judgment and decision-making
