Financial Controller, GBS This role is integral to the success of the GBS, overseeing financial performance, accounting operations, and governance in alignment with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will drive service quality management through the implementation of quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll do:

As a Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in managing and tracking service levels provided by Functional Leads.

• Ensure team objectives and service level goals are met to a high standard
• Manage adherence to the Group Target Operating Model across all functions
• Monitor the quality assurance of services being delivered
• Work with senior management to deploy strategic plans for efficiency optimisation and cost reduction
• Promote the development of functional experts through regular training sessions
• Propose and lead process simplification and automation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with control environments and adherence to processes in accordance with defined guidelines

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Financial Controller position brings a wealth of experience in a similar leadership capacity.

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field, or professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA etc.)
• Minimum 10 years' relevant working experience in a similar leadership capacity
• Experience in using ERP system
• Strong functional expertise and understanding/interest in end-to-end business service and processes.
• Excellent client facing communication skills for negotiation & reconciliation.
• Exceptional coaching skills.
• Action planning and prioritization skills.
