Finance Controller

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager / Financial Controller with a strong background in the property and/or trading sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead, supervise, oversee, and manage a full spectrum of finance functions.

As a Senior Manager / Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing the full spectrum of finance functions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing accounts receivables, accounts payables, inventory management among others. You will also be tasked with attending key meetings to provide updates on the group's performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts receivables, accounts payables, inventory management, treasury, tax compliance and transfer pricing.
• Manage internal control and risk management, costing, financial planning and forecast.
• Ensure operating and capital expenditures are within budgets.
• Handle cash flow planning and management.
• Attend audit committee and board of directors’ meetings to brief and update the group’s performance on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare meeting papers and materials for the board of directors, audit committee and risk management committee.
• Handle investor relation including preparation of corporate presentation and stakeholder management.
• Supervise activities of Finance & Accounts Department of newly set-up corporate service division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for group reporting, consolidation accounts, Bursa reporting, corporate matters including corporate finance, corporate governance and ESG, treasury and daily operational matters.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/any professional qualifications
• Proven experience in managing finance functions in the property or trading sector.
• Expertise in group reporting, consolidation accounts, Bursa reporting.
• Knowledge of corporate finance, corporate governance and ESG.
• Experience in treasury and daily operational matters.
• Ability to manage internal control and risk management.
• Experience in financial planning and forecasting.
• Proficiency in cash flow planning and management.
• Experience in investor relations.
