Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance (Seremban) to lead their finance division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute towards accurate, timely, and robust financial management within a dynamic organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial control, day-to-day accounting, cash management, tax management, and audit tasks.

As the Head of Finance (Seremban), your role will be pivotal in leading the financial control, day-to-day accounting operations, cash management, tax management, audit tasks. You will be responsible for optimising the company's funding and cash flow while safeguarding the budget in line with Group policies. Your expertise will be crucial in providing professional financial support to the management team. You will also play a key role in managing a variety of accounting activities while ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Responsible for overseeing cash management, funding, and cash flow within the company
- Handle budgeting, accounting, and reporting systems in accordance with Group policies
- Oversee various accounting functions, ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting principles, legal requirements, and reporting standards
- Ensure timely and accurate periodic financial closures
- Plan, supervise, and manage the strategic and operational development and implementation of systems
The ideal candidate for this Head of Finance (Seremban) position should have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance or a Business-related discipline. Being registered with MIA is essential while having an MBA, CA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA qualification would be advantageous. A minimum of 10 years' professional post-accounting experience is required; ideally 5+ years of broad financial and plant management experience within a manufacturing company. The successful candidate should possess strong business acumen with the ability to evaluate current market conditions and forecast for the future.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance or Business related discipline.
- Registered with MIA
- MBA, CA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of overall professional post accounting experience; ideally 5+ years of broad financial and plants management experience in Manufacturing Company.
- Candidate who are in Financial Controller or similar capacity would be an added advantage
- Strong business acumen.
