An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced R2R/ Financial Reporting Manager to join a rapidly growing, global company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the governance of accuracy for all transactions, leading a regional team, and acting as the primary contact for locations.

What you'll do:

As the Head of R2R, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio with a focus on Group Consolidation, Fixed Assets, Accruals, Prepayment.

You will also act as the primary contact for locations across the region, addressing any escalations promptly. In addition to this operational management aspect of your role, you will also be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing solutions for continuous improvement.

  • Ensure daily operational activities are managed and delivered timely.
  • Act as the primary contact for locations, addressing escalations promptly.

  • Ensure appropriate General Ledger processes, controls, policies are in place.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and work independently with minimal supervision.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Head of Record to Report (R2R) role will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. Your background should include 10-12 years of experience in finance and accounting, with exposure to Southeast Asia finance operations.

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • Professional qualification with a recognised global or international accounting body (CPA, ACCA ,CIMA etc).
  • 10 – 12 years of experience in finance and accounting with exposure to Southeast Asia (SEA) finance operations.
  • Work experience in both a Big 4 accounting firm and a commercial company (Retail industry).
  • Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
  • Proficient in Finance & Accounting software, including SAP (including BPC) and PowerBI.
  • Certification in implementation and/or expert level knowledge in IFRS 16.
