One of the leading retailers is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to be based in their regional office in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Senior Finance Manager Role :
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end finance and accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Overlook the overall monthly end to end R2R processes and ensure timely closing and reporting processes
• Prepare statutory financial statements accurately, on time, and in line with local legislation
• Ensure timely delivery of General accounting and reporting, being in charged of fixed assets, direct and indicted tax services, account reconciliations, statutory accounting
• Handle consolidation group reporting and governance the statutory compliance of holding companies within the stipulated deadline
• Assist with both internal and external audits, conduct regular assessments of key areas of risk and report to Financial Controller as and when necessary
• Ensure stakeholders queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible and proactive manner
• Work collaboratively with other team within BUs and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy processed into the system

To succeed in the Senior Finance Manager job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively within a team environment and co-operatively with affiliates across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Requirements:

• Total of 15 years of experience with a minimum of eight years in general ledger and reporting, with exposure to statutory reporting
• Degree in finance and accounting/commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications e.g. ACCA/CPA/MIA
• Good communication skills and able to communicate effectively in English
• SAP ERP knowledge is advantageous
• Experience of working in retail industry is preferred
