Financial Controller (Manufacturing)

About the Financial Controller (Manufacturing) Role:

As the Financial Controller, you will supervise a team of finance members as well as monitors the financial operations within the site. You will also be responsible for providing timely and effective financial analysis as well as insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead in Financial Reporting
• Lead in preparation of quarterly Corporate reporting
• Lead in accounts receivables, accounts payables and fixed assets
• Lead in account receivables collection and credit management
• Lead in site compliance activities
• Cashflow forecast
• Lead in Capex Process
• Lead in local statutory reporting on tax and audit
• Lead in lease accounting
• Lead in treasury and hedging
• Drive margin gain within site
• Work closely with the Operations and Continuous Improvement teams to improve profitability in low margin product groups/customers
• Ensure actions plans are established and followed through
• ERP Improvement opportunities
• Inventory Reduction Programme
• Major Project (Capex)
• Ad hoc projects

To succeed in this Financial Controller (Manufacturing) role, you must be a high-energy, responsive, detail-oriented, and experienced leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, operational, and people skills.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Finance/Accounting/Investment/Economics
• At least 10 years of work experience, with at least three years in a leadership role
• Strong negotiation skills with a good understanding of current market practices
• Team player with strong interpersonal and project management skills, resourceful, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines
• Written and verbal proficiency in English
• Good presentation and writing skills
