A market leader in the property development industry is seeking for a General Manager – Financial Reporting. In this job, you will expand the capabilities of the finance department.
About the General Manager - Financial Reporting Role:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be leading the finance team in recording and reporting financial numbers and ensuring compliance, whilst driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely monthly closing and reporting of financial books
- Preparing financial report, financial statements and annual report in compliance with the regulations
- Consolidating and analysing of the legal entities in the group
- Preparing insightful analysis of numbers to the business
- Ensuring controls are in place and processes are compliant with policies
- Being the key liaison person for external auditors, tax and other stakeholders
To succeed in this General Manager - Financial Reporting position, you must possess at least 20 years of relevant work experience with a majority spent in the property development industry.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy/professional qualification recognised by MIA
- External audit exposure is an advantage
- Strong stakeholder engagement and familiar with change management
- Ability to understand the business and lead/guide the finance team
- Meticulous, independent, organised and ability to interact at all levels
