Senior Manager - Accounts and Finance

A Senior Manager - Accounts and Finance job has become available at a manufacturing company based in Shah Alam, to lead and improve the company’s finance department.

About the Senior Manager - Accounts and Finance Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the accounting team in recording and reporting financial numbers and ensuring compliance, whilst driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage various sections of accounting, taxation & finance operation involving and operation support
• Timely management and financial reporting with a high degree of accuracy and integrity
• Review financial statements and reports, including monthly management reports, quarterly Bursa reporting and other reports
• Adequately address all queries on both direct and indirect taxes and all tax incentives are approved and activated
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns/tax estimates, and preparation of transfer pricing documentation
• Develop staff and subordinates periodically in line with the changes and new developments in business and compliance requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a mixture of external audit and commercial experience and have excellent stakeholder engagement.

Key Requirements:

• Degree or professional qualifications in accounting
• At least 12 years of relevant work experience, with five years in a public-listed company
• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Good accounting knowledge and able to business partner with senior management
