This organisation has been established for many years and is known for its superior products. They are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller job to expand the capability of the finance department.
About the Financial Controller Role:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the finance team in recording and reporting financial numbers and ensuring compliance, whilst driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely monthly closing and reporting of financial books
- Preparing financial report, financial statements and annual report in compliance with the regulations
- Preparing insightful analysis of numbers to the business
- Ensuring controls are in place and processes are compliant with policies
- Acting as the key liaison person for external auditors, tax and other stakeholders
To succeed in the Financial Controller role, you must possess around 20 years of relevant working experience in a fast-paced environment and large organisation.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or professional qualification recognised by MIA
- External audit exposure is an added advantage
- Strong stakeholder engagement and familiar with change management
- Ability to understand the business and lead/guide the finance team
- Meticulous, independent, organised and ability to interact at all levels
