Senior Finance Manager

A Senior Finance Manager job has just become available at a healthcare company based in Petaling Jaya.

About the Senior Finance Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the company's finance matters in Asia Pacific, Japan and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of the accounting department at the regional office and also subsidiaries
• Evaluate and enhance process and systems to prevent errors in data collection and reporting
• Review and support month-end and year-end close process and ensure reporting deadlines are met
• Review and ensure balance sheet reconciliation are done on a periodic basis and any discrepancies are rectified on a timely basis
• Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions
• Manage the Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition process
• Prepare cash flow forecast and manage cash flow for the region
• Liaise with auditors, company secretary and tax agents to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and filings
• Maintain good corporate relations with customers, vendors, banking institutions, auditors, HQ and other affiliates

To succeed in this Senior Finance Manager job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively within a team environment and cooperatively with affiliates across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Requirements:

• Basic degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business Studies with professional qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW CIMA
• 10 years' relevant working experience including three years at an audit firm
• Must have very good knowledge of SAP. Candidates without SAP experience need not apply
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to work in a matrix organisations and communicate well with different stakeholders
• Experience in Hyperion and accounting standards /taxation of Asia Pacific Countries is advantageous.
