As an Account Executive, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that are vital to the integrity of the organisation’s financial processes. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing core accounting functions such as processing transactions across payables, receivables, and general ledger entries. You will also play an important role during month-end and year-end periods by assisting with closing activities including journal entries and reconciliations. Maintaining well-organised documentation is key to ensuring audit readiness at all times. In addition to these core duties, you will have the opportunity to support the preparation of financial reports and analyses that inform business decisions. Your ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners will be essential in resolving queries efficiently. By taking on additional finance or administrative tasks as needed, you will contribute positively to the overall success of the finance team.
- Manage daily accounting operations by processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries with precision and care.
- Prepare invoices, payments, and receipts accurately while ensuring all transactions are completed within required timelines.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing journal entries and performing reconciliations to ensure completeness of financial data.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and filing systems for accounting records so that audit readiness is always achieved.
- Support the preparation of detailed financial reports, schedules, and analysis as requested by management or auditors.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards, and local tax regulations at all times.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external auditors to facilitate smooth communication and resolve any queries promptly.
- Contribute to other ad-hoc finance or administrative tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager to support overall department objectives.

- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field which demonstrates your foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
- Possess 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting roles where you have developed practical skills in transaction processing and record keeping.
- Proficient in Mandarin speaking, reading and writing is a must to deal with China stakeholders
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms used for financial management.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail along with excellent organisational abilities that enable you to manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Showcase good communication skills that allow you to collaborate harmoniously within a team setting as well as interact professionally with external parties.
- Display a willingness to learn about local tax regulations and statutory requirements relevant to the role’s responsibilities.
- Preferred: Bring experience gained from working in shared service centres or multinational environments which adds value through exposure to diverse practices.
