Our client, a prominent multinational corporation in the automotive sector with an extensive network of outlets across Malaysia, is seeking an FP&A Executive. This position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial planning and analysis within a leading, well-established automotive company known for its high-quality sales and after-sales services for passenger and commercial vehicles. The successful candidate will be based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, and will report to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
As the FP&A Executive, you will play a vital role in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for the company’s operations. You will implement margin analysis and support reporting across various departments, collaborating with Sales and Aftersales divisions and Corporate Real Estate teams to oversee and assess financial outcomes and real estate initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for:
* Executing comprehensive margin analysis and reporting for Sales and Aftersales divisions.
* Monitoring and reporting cost actuals versus budget within the Sales and Aftersales divisions.
* Supporting budget and forecast processes for group-wide margin, operating, and capital expenditures.
* Managing Profit & Loss statements in partnership with General Managers.
* Engaging closely with functional stakeholders to communicate, influence, and operationalize financial targets.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal FP&A Executive will bring at least 2 to 3 years of experience in finance, with a background in financial planning, analysis, or reporting. You should demonstrate a high degree of stakeholder management, technical proficiency in financial analysis, visualization tools, and a strong command of the English language. A proactive mindset, with a ‘fail fast, learn fast’ approach, and effective time and expectation management skills will be key to success in this role.
* Minimum 2 to 3 years of progressive finance experience.
* Strong foundation in financial analysis, planning, or reporting.
* Proficiency in analytical methods, data visualization tools, and technology.
* Self-starter with a proactive, adaptable approach.
* Skilled at managing time, expectations, and driving impactful change.
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
