Our client is seeking a highly skilled FP&A Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting of a leading organisation.
What you'll do:
As an FP&A Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of our client's business. You will be responsible for preparing strategic plans, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts, with a particular focus on fresh foods and in-store services. Your role will also involve monitoring and analysing operational efficiencies, developing rolling monthly forecast models, and providing valuable business insights. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you present financial data for cost and budget control, while your understanding of profitability will help drive operating efficiencies across all business channels.
- Prepare strategic plans, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts
- Monitor and analyse the operation efficiencies of food commissary and fresh foods partner
- Develop and manage the rolling monthly forecast model
- Analyse and present financial data for cost and budget control
- Provide business insights and analysis to profitability and operating efficiencies of every business channel
- Analyse financial results forecast/budget vs actual
What you bring:
The ideal FP&A Manager will bring a wealth of experience from the retail/FMCG industry. With at least 3 years of relevant work experience under your belt, you are proficient in using finance and accounting software such as SAP, Qlik Sense or any EPM. Your degree in accountancy or ACCA/CIMA/Chartered Accountant qualification equips you with the knowledge necessary for this role. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can work independently. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively share your insights with others.
- Degree in accountancy or ACCA/CIMA/Chartered Accountant qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in commercial finance/business analysis in the retail/FMCG industry
- Proficiency in finance and accounting software such as SAP, Qlik Sense or any EPM
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
