An exciting FP&A Manager job has just become available at one of the leading start-up IT companies in Malaysia. This company is looking for an individual with seven to eight years of strong financial analysis experience in a managerial post in a similar industry.

About the FP&A Manager Role:
This role places importance in generating high-quality and insightful plans and forecasts, analysing the performance against those plans and proactively working in collaboration with other teams to improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to the senior management
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with various departments to set financial targets
• Monitor budget execution and perform variance analysis
• Conduct financial modelling, investment analyses, and scenario planning
• Assist in long-term strategic planning and alignment with company goals
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement risk management strategies and internal controls
• Coordinate with the parent company's shared services function for seamless integration with payroll, accounting, and taxation
• Support ad hoc projects and perform other related duties as needed

To succeed in this FP&A Manager role, you must be able to cover three main functions of the business including financial analysis and reporting, strategic planning and budgeting and advertising and promotion cost control.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related professional qualification in finance/accounting
• Six years of experience in a finance or related role
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Familiarity with financial software and tools
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
