About the Financial Planning Analyst (Semenyih) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for conducting financial and business analysis for the operations to improve profitability and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design budgeting and forecasting process for operations to keep control of annual budget expenses
• Manage and assess risks to the business effectively
• Manage key cost drivers and identify areas for improvement and cost savings
• Prepare the month-end finance and results reporting of the operations (working capital and cash flow)
• Maintain and update the finance and accounting policies and SOPs based on corporate guidelines
• Be involved in annual external audit process and facilitate resolutions of any audit queries
• Liaise with appointed tax agent in relation to local compliance and relevant statutory submission requirements (tax estimation, withholding tax)

To succeed in the Financial Planning Analyst job, you will need to have strong business acumen and analytics skills.

Key Requirements:

• Accounting degree or its equivalent
• Prior experience in a relevant role, preferably in the retail and wholesale industry
• Excellent analytical skills, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• ACCA holder is an advantage
