Supply Chain Finance (Assistant Manager)

An exciting Supply Chain Finance (Assistant Manager) job has just become available at a multinational FMCG company based in Petaling Jaya. This role is for you if you have five to six years of strong experience with costing or commercial finance experience within the FMCG/manufacturing industry.

About the Supply Chain Finance (Assistant Manager) Role:
This role is focused on preparing monthly management reporting relating to the supply chain function (OEM and factory) for SBFM and also responsible for managing day-to-day activities on functional finance of SBFM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management reporting
• Compile and calculate provisions for related inventory
• Ensure the month-end closing such as cost allocation, production variance, price purchase variance (PPV) and others have been properly calculated.
• Analyse the actual cost of goods sold with proper justifications
• Analyse the production order actual usage against the standard costing
• Create the asset requisition number (INPEC) based on budgeted CAPEX when factory require for a new asset investment
• Check the material cost related for the stakeholders
• Be involved in the stock count related such as posting and providing the cost element for the stock to be provisioned and/or written off
• Maintain the material master costing for new SKUs
• Maintain the bill of material (BOM) and the approval routing setup
• Review the material master during the yearly budgeting process or during mid year CE process and roll out for proper approval

To succeed in this role, you must be able to communicate effectively with the main stakeholders stakeholders for this position, including the finance and accounting team, supply chain team such as procurement team, operations team and factory team.

Key Requirements:

• Strategic thinking, initiative, innovative approach, leadership, enthusiasm, tenacity, effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of FMCG, especially beverage industry
• Good understanding of financial statement analysis and reporting
• Understanding of business processes
• Good Microsoft office skills
• Business analysis or relevant role, with at least four years of work experience in the FMCG industry
