FP&A Assistant Manager

An FP&A Assistant Manager job has become available in the APAC team of a multinational IT firm due to business expansion.

About the FP&A Assistant Manager Role:
You will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis activity for three countries in APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review monthly financial reporting prepared by local finance teams to ensure accuracy of monthly reporting with support through guidance, closing instructions and correct booking entries
• Analyse variances against budget and last year
• Act as the budget owner for countries in perimeter
• Prepare APAC monthly forecast or quarter landing by coordinating with countries to collect and factor in any material events
• Review and analyse monthly regional results against the standard set of KPIs focus on the area of marketing, rebates, headcounts, etc.
• Perform regular monitor on commercial margin analysis and collaborate closely with countries to clarify deviating margins
• Develop commissions files to facilitate computation at regional level

To succeed in the FP&A Assistant Manager job, you need to be curious, keen eye for details, resourceful and able to work independently.

Key Requirements:

• Professional accounting qualifications or its related equivalent with 5 - 10 years of work experience including audit experience
• Experience in transformation – ERP migration, process optimisation, KPI follow up reports, Power BI, process harmonisation
• Very good interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to liaise with various cultures and personalities, and have a real team-mindset
• Interest for ongoing improvements and proactive attitude and able to take initiatives
• Experience working in a Big 4 firm is a plus and/or a regional finance headquarters within an MNC
