Senior Finance Executive

Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Finance Executive to manage the company's full set of accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role requires someone hands on, detail oriented, and capable of handling daily accounting operations while supporting financial analysis and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and supporting schedules in a timely manner.

• Ensure all accounting entries are recorded accurately and in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Perform month end closing activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

• Monitor cash flow and assist in treasury related matters such as payment planning and bank transactions.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decision making.

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external parties during audit and tax submissions.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including SST, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.

• Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls when necessary.

• Support ad hoc finance related projects and assignments from management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.

• Minimum 4 to 6 years of working experience in accounting with exposure to full set accounts.

• Good knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and statutory requirements.

• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
