Finance Executive

A trading organisation in Penang is seeking a dedicated Finance Executive to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliation, costing, and inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable aging reports.
• Process supplier invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and payment vouchers accurately.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and issue debtor statements while coordinating with the sales/marketing team on overdue collections.
• Assist in preparing supporting documents for annual audits, tax submissions, and statutory compliance matters.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and integrity of all financial data and records.
• Submit SST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements (if applicable).
• Manage e-Invoice requirements in accordance with LHDN guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in handling a full set of accounts.
• Candidates with an audit background or experience in SMEs are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Familiarity with accounting systems and regulatory compliance is an added advantage.
